The FS Italiane Group has started a dialogue with the Municipality of Padua which involves a series of redevelopment interventions in the former Campo Marte area. To increase environmental and energy sustainability, a solar plant will be built on the area currently covered by abandoned tracks, as the first phase of the interventions planned for the area. A project which has the aim of installing a large technologically advanced of 5 mega watts, to directly power the railway line and give impetus to the decarbonisation path undertaken by society. Combined with environmental reclamation and new tree plantings, this is a project that guarantees the saving of tons of CO2.
Such photovoltaic plant will be installed with Taoistic Solar’s pv module (TS-M10/120H, N-Type). A contract between Taoistic Solar and FS Italiane Group’s official EPC has been signed and the pv modules will be delivered to Padua, Italy within the end of January, while the project will be completed within the end of February as requested by the state-owned company.
